More agile and closer to the needs of the local industry: Established Spanish Kawasaki Robotics partner Larraioz Elektronika will be responsible for developing the Iberian robotics market.
Neuss,July 1st 2021 – Kawasaki Robotics EMEA is strengthening its European network with the launch of the Iberian HUB. The strategic agreement between Kawasaki Robotics and Larraioz Elektronika is valid from July 1st 2021. Larraioz Elektronika has been a partner and distributor of the robotics manufacturer since 2015 – the new cooperation marks the next stage of strengthening the robotics market on the Iberian peninsula. As the Kawasaki Robotics Iberian HUB the Spanish partner will be responsible for developing sales, marketing and the regional partner network in Spain and Portugal.
Second stage in reorganising the EMEA structure of Kawasaki Robotics
After successfully establishing the Central & Eastern European HUB operating from Poland in 2020, the launch of the Iberian HUB is the next step in reorganising the Kawasaki Robotics network across the entire EMEA region. Kenji Bando, President of Kawasaki Robotics EMEA, explains the strategic approach: “The HUB structure offers more autonomy and agility to our partners, allowing them to meet the individual needs of the local industry. While we provide them with our full support, they are able to use their expertise and knowledge of the regional markets to bring the development of their markets to the next level. After working together successfully for more than 6 years, Larraioz Elektronika was the logical choice to become our new Iberian HUB.”
Rising automation needs across the region will be served precisely
Operating from the North of Spain, Larraioz Elektronika has been a strong automation solution provider and most reliable partner for robotics system integrators for more than 30 years. „We deeply appreciate the trust Kawasaki Robotics has placed in us to not only represent the globally established brand on the Iberian market, but to also strategically develop the robotics business across all countries of the region. The robotics sector, especially in Spain and Portugal, as well as the automation needs of regional businesses have been rising fast – the Iberian HUB offers the high-end products, strong network and extensive know-how to precisely serve those needs”, says Xabier Iturralde Usabiaga, General Coordinator at Kawasaki Robotics Iberian HUB.
