Neuss, June 2nd 2022 – After a break due to the pandemic, Kawasaki Robotics EMEA will be back at Automatica in Munich from June 21 to 24, 2022. On 300 square meters (Booth B5-328), the international robot manufacturer and its partners will present a wide range of new technologies from Japan, as well as numerous new products and solutions for a wide variety of applications and industries. “We are very pleased to be part of the first Automatica since the beginning of the pandemic and are proud to present live the next generation of state-of-the-art industrial robots as well as innovative solutions and practical concepts,” said Kenji Bando, President of Kawasaki Robotics EMEA.
Individual and easy-to-operate solutions for all users
Robots, peripherals and software – all from a single source: An arc welding system with linear axis and positioner from the K-Track and K-Positioner series shows how Kawasaki Robotics’ broad product portfolio can be configured for individual welding requirements. The Plug & Play compact welding cell K-ARC enables a particularly low-threshold automation of welding processes. A digital twin via K-Virtual and the new K-DIY manual guidance system allow the cell to be used intuitively and quickly, even without programming expertise. Complete networking: All robots on the stand – as well as a robot from the showroom at the Neuss headquarters – are connected to the TREND Manager predictive maintenance tool. All live data is displayed and analyzed centrally, showing the benefits of preventive maintenance.

Ideal for a little time out: trade fair visitors can have a free coffee speciality prepared by the barista robot MyAppCafe. A palletizing system will demonstrate the benefits of Kawasaki Robotics’ latest F-Controller generation, including adaptive speed adjustment depending on the weight of the package and more than 25 percent energy savings during operation. Other highlights include the new T-Skin hybrid cobot solution, a painting solution based on a partnership with painting expert Dürr, the innovative ASTORINO education robot for universities and educational institutions, and a look at upcoming product highlights from Japan. The mobile welding solution RoboCon, fully installed within a recycled shipping container, can be seen in action in front of the East Entrance.
